Bonnie Lee Sanders
Bonnie Lee Sanders is a Bistro Award winner for outstanding singer-songwriter. She has written scores for film and TV. Her one-woman shows, “Positive Influences”, and “Bonnie’s Broadway Moon Song Shoppe”, were performed in NYC. Bonnie's musical, “Come Up ‘N See Me”, co-written with Ellen Schwartz and Arthur Writ, won the Quest Fest Competition in England, sponsored by Andrew Lloyd Webber. A Broadway production of her latest work, co-written with Mark Barkan and Terry McCauley, "Wild Goose Chase" about John James Audubon, is in the works. "The Lady and the Champ", starring Jake Lamotta, Denise Baker and Carl Shimkin had a run at the Richmond Shepard Theater in New York. Bonnie has also had the honor of having her material performed in a musical production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Spoleto Festival. She produced a radio show, Broadway Live" at Sardi's featuring the late Jule Styne and Elaine Stritch. Her Mystery Musical Thriller, "Split Ends", had a significant run at the Triad in NYC and toured the country. Presently, she has been working on a TV pilot, "Banana Hill Nut Farm". This musical TV series is based on her experiences in the music business, and she is happy to be alive and -- not committed yet -- to tell her story.
